![]() Fortunately, this time the repairman came faster, and finally took a shower before 11:00! Is this like the Sheraton Hotel? I really doubt that I lived in the fake Sheraton! Also, another disadvantage of living on the first floor is that the restaurant fume on the first floor of the hotel is filled directly into the room, but there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom! So accompanied by the smell of soot, we spent a night unhappy! I really don't recommend this hotel! I walked far away and said that I opened the curtains and saw only one wall! Oh, really depressed! I think about ten o'clock in the evening, I am too lazy to change the room again, ready to wash and sleep, and found that the sewer is not working! It’s really a slap in the face, and I’m going to call the front desk for repairs. I gave the most remote room on the first floor. When I saw that we were Chinese, I immediately stretched my face a lot and went to the room in a bad mood. ![]() I didn’t expect Portland to be so cold at night, the clothes were worn less, and the dog was frozen! Then the car came, the driver did not get off the luggage, the whole master, so I also decisively did not tip! When I arrived at the front desk of the hotel, I checked in and unfortunately met a girl suspected of racism. ![]() ![]() I went to the airport and waited for the free shutter of his home for a full half hour. I really feel that this hotel is not worthy of the ”Sheraton” brand! Let’s talk about it. Hard to control that All in all enjoyed our stay here and will for sure consider staying here again. Must have been a family with kids as they were running, jumping all over at 7am. THE BAD (not advertised) The People in the room above us were really loud at night and in the morning. They did provide grab and go breakfast with breakfast bar, yogurt, orange juice and mandarin oranges. Pool, fire pit, sitting areas, morning breakfast. THE BAD-(but as advertised on their website and throughout hotel) All common areas are closed due to COVID. Great attitudes at night and during day Asked for late check out of 2pm which was provided Complimentary parking and a visible security person walking the grounds outside. Unit was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we were expecting. Was assigned room at end of hallway on third floor. The good: Check in was easy, although mobile check in didn't work this time. Stayed for one night with my family of four in a 2B unit. Without any doubt, The Nines is surely Portland's best hotel. Concierge was willing to help and had an excellent attitude. Service: People were attentive and housekeeping did a good job. The lobby is large and is very well designed, with an atrium/courtyard like style. Well done and designed.Ĭommon Area: Wow! From the entry of the hotel, to the hallways upstairs, it was surely a journey through excellent design! The lobby is in the center of the hotel, on the eighth floor. The ceiling height is very high, so it makes the room feel very spacious. The washroom is large and has everything that is needed. The two queen beds were very large and the bedding was very comfortable. Room: The room itself is fairly large and luxurious, with a very new renovation. Location: The Nines is located in Central Portland, near Pioneer Courtyard Square, and is a stone's throw away from many excellent restaurants, shopping, and tourist destinations. The Nines is a luxurious hotel that met and exceeded my expectations.
